Safety Manager/ Team Leader, Point Pleasant, WV area
Hiring A Full-Time Safety Manager, **must be an experienced Data Center Safety Team Leader**
We at Environmental, Health & Safety Solutions (EHSS) currently have an opportunity to expand our team of Safety Professionals. We are looking for a full-time Safety Manager north of Huntington WV for a long term Data Center Job. Candidates must be collaborative, professional, willing to work long hours and weekends as necessary, and have an impeccable work ethic. Below are a few of the requirements for the position:
- 5-10 Minimum years’ experience with 5 + years of experience as a Team Safety Manager in construction.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Safety
- OSHA 30, 500, and 510
- CHST (Construction Health and Safety Tech) certificate or higher with the BCSP
- NFPA 70 E. LOTO and Hazardous Energy Control experience needed
- Any additional certifications are a plus
- Must have the ability to successfully analyze problems, creatively problem-solve and develop balanced resolutions at both a strategic and functional level.
- Performs root cause analysis, makes recommendations, and supports implementation of safety related process improvements.
- Ability to read, understand, and implement technical and safety manuals, reports, workplace rules and procedures; speak with poise and confidence, using correct English.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Works with Estimators, PMs, and Operations to plan for a safe execution of all assigned projects.
- Works with Executive & Management teams to implement, audit and review the safety performance of the EHS policies and procedures to ensure continual improvement.
- Ability to train and keep client team members training and certifications current per applicable OSHA, ANSI, etc. requirements.
Field Safety Professional- Point Pleasant, WV area
Hiring A Full-Time Field Safety Professional, Point Pleasant WV area.
We at Environmental, Health & Safety Solutions, Inc. (EHSS) currently have an opportunity to expand our team of Safety Professionals. We are looking for full-time, long term, Field Safety Professionals / Leaders who seek a personal and professional challenge and want to grow within our company.

Below are a few of the requirements for the position:
- 3 plus years’ experience as a Safety Professional **REQUIRED**
- OSHA 30 **REQUIRED**
- NFPA 70 E, LOTO, and Hazardous Energy Control experience preferred
- Ability to read and advise on safety manuals, procedures, reports, workplace rules and procedures
- Provide Safety training / orientation for all team members
- Perform and document jobsite audits, observations and inspections to identify and correct hazards, mitigate risks, make recommendations and correct safety gaps
- Complete and submit all permits (hot work, confined space, overhead, etc.)
- Provide an in-field safety presence while demonstrating and effectively communicating the safety expectations of the owner/contractor as well as ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and site-specific safety regulations
- Communicate client safety policies, reports, workplace rules, requirements and procedures, providing Safety training / orientation, for new and current company team members while advising, encouraging observation, coaching and corrective actions
- Support the implementation of safety related process improvements and recognize hazardous conditions, communicating, documenting, and resolving the hazards
- Articulate confidently, using correct English, and able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Must have competent computer skills (Microsoft Office, word, excel, etc.)
