Some Requirements
- 5 Minimum years’ experience as a Safety Manager **REQUIRED**
- CHST Coordinator and STSC with BCSP Certification **REQUIRED**
- OSHA 510 & OSHA 500
- OSHA 30-hour Certification (Construction) as well as extensive knowledge of OSHA 1910 General Industry and OSHA 1926 Construction Standards **REQUIRED**
- Proficient computer and technological skills
- Must have the ability to successfully analyze problems, creatively problem-solve and develop balanced resolution at both a strategic and functional level. Performs root cause analysis, makes recommendations, and supports implementation of safety related process improvements.
- Ability to read technical and safety manuals and reports, workplace rules and procedures
- Must confidently and intelligently communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to train and keep client team members training and certifications current per applicable OSHA, ANSI, etc. requirements.

Duties/ Accountabilities:
- Provide in-field safety support to our partner, while teaching, instructing, coaching and demonstrating all aspects of Safety to the Safety Director.
- Effectively communicating the safety expectations of our client/partner as well as ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and site-specific safety regulations
- Collaborate with the development of creative and impactful safety training.
- Support daily field operations Safety Director, ensuring assigned tasks are safely executed and verify equipment, tools and work areas are within the industry and client safety standards
- Articulately and confidently report and communicate the safety performance to the client/ partners, EH&S Supervisor, Foreman, and Project Manager, while effectively acting as a liaison on all levels
- Utilize corrective actions to avoid accidents or incidents, investigating any issues or problems to identify resolutions
This is a 6 month position that could lead to many other opportunities.
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
